What is SoftWave Therapy – and Why I Brought It Into My Practice

If you’ve been dealing with chronic pain or a nagging injury that just won’t seem to heal, you’re not alone—and you’re definitely not out of options.

At ALIVE Wellness Center, I’m always looking for natural ways to help the body heal faster, feel better, and function at its best. That’s why I brought SoftWave Therapy into the office. It’s a quick, non-invasive treatment that helps flush out inflammation, break down scar tissue, and most importantly—stimulate your body’s own healing process by bringing blood flow and activating local stem cells to repair damaged tissue.

So What Exactly Is SoftWave Therapy?

SoftWave is a type of regenerative technology that uses sound waves (yes, sound!) to penetrate deep into injured or inflamed tissue. Those waves create a healing response in the body—one that promotes circulation, reduces swelling, and wakes up dormant stem cells in the area to start the repair process.

Most people feel results in their very first session. Even if pain doesn’t disappear right away, they often feel looser, more mobile, and able to move in ways that had been limited for weeks—or even months.

Why I Added SoftWave to My Office

I didn’t just bring SoftWave into my practice because it sounded good on paper. I brought it in because I needed it.

After a knee injury while skiing, I found myself unable to jump or exercise without pain. My only medical option? A cortisone injection. That wasn’t what I wanted—not for myself, and certainly not for my patients. So I started searching for alternatives and a colleague introduced me to SoftWave. After experiencing its results firsthand, I knew I had to offer it to the people I care for every day.

What Can SoftWave Help With?

In our office, I see great results for people dealing with:

Shoulder pain and rotator cuff injuries
Knee pain and stiffness
Ankle sprains or post-injury pain
Low back pain and hip tightness
TMJ dysfunction
That stubborn “between the shoulder blades” trap tension

Some people come to me just for SoftWave therapy, especially if it’s a local joint or soft tissue issue. Others are already under chiropractic care, and we’ll use SoftWave to speed up healing when progress has slowed or inflammation is in the way.

How to Get Started

If you’re curious if SoftWave might help with something you’re going through, the first step is simple. I always start with a quick phone consult to understand what’s going on and make sure you’re a good candidate. That way, we can be sure there are no contraindications and that we’re starting in the right place.

If you’ve been told that injections, pills, or surgery are your only options—it might be time to try something different. All you have to do is fill out the contact form on the website or send me a text at 805-244-6769 to book a consult.

Let’s get you back to doing what you love, pain-free.
